Privacy policy
Oil Barron for iOS, Android and the web. Last updated 2026-11-03.
The short version
Oil Barron doesn't collect, store or share any personal information. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking.
What stays on your device
Your settings (sound, vibration), whether you've seen the tutorial, and your race record (races, wins, best finish) are saved on your device only. Deleting the app, or using Reset my record in Settings, removes them.
Live oil prices
To race on the real oil price, the game fetches public market data from Hyperliquid's public API (api.hyperliquid.xyz). These requests carry no information about you, but like any internet request they reach Hyperliquid's servers from your device's IP address. Without a connection the game uses practice prices instead.
No real money
Oil Barron is a game. All cash in it is play money. Nothing is bet, won or lost for real, and there are no in-app purchases.
Children
The game doesn't knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.
